The works on the stadium Poljud progress in compliance with the defined plans. The offices that will accommodate
the Organizing Committee of the IAAF / VTB Bank Continental Cup and the high officials of the IAAF will be soon completed. The track is prepared for application of the new surface and the
VIP and journalist boxes will get new, more comfortable seats.
A novelty is, that on the western and eastern side of the stadium emergency exits will be installed for the spectators, similar to the existing ones in the northern and southern part. The majority of the works should be finished by July, two months before the opening of the
IAAF / VTB Bank Continental Cup Split 2010.
