The youngest citizens of Split will have a chance to compete and show their skills in the mini athletics competition that will be held
on Saturday, May 22nd 2010.
Children of up to 12 years of age, divided into several age categories, will compete in
a race on 40 meters, high jump and trhowing disciplines, of course all in compliance with their age and capabilities.
This event under organization of the
IAAF/VTB Bank Continental Cup Split 2010 will start
at 10.00 a.m. and the intention is to present the local children and their parents the "Queen of sports" with support of professional athletic coaches. Of course all this will be mixed with entertainment and fun.
Fun is guaranteed by the official mascot of the IAAF/VTB Bank Continental Cup, that will be presented to the public for the first time this Saturday.
