The stadium in Poljud is being prepared for the upcoming
IAAF/VTB Bank Continental Cup. Today the works on
refurbishing the VIP and journalist boxes started. The old plastic seats will be replaced with new, more comfortable ones. The design of the new chairs will positively surprise all spectators in the "Poljud beauty".
Along with these boxes, works are also under way in the premises that will be used during the Continental Cup by the Organizin Committee and major works are done on the athletic track, for which we expect to be soon completly finished.
These works on the stadium Poljud will of course continue through the next two months, so that this best Croatian stadium can shine in full glory for the first issue of the
IAAF/VTB Bank Continental Cup Split 2010.
