In anticipation of the Continental Cup, on
September 02nd,
an entertainment program will be organized at the waterfront „Riva“ in Split, beginning at 19:00 h. This event is just the introduction for the official opening ceremony of the
Continental Cup, to be held on Friday, September 03rd, at 19:30 in the Prokurative square, in the center of Split, while the Cup itself is held in
the stadium Poljud, on September 04th and 05th, starting at 17.00 h on both days.
The official, big entertainment and show program on the Riva will last from 19:00 to 21:00 with the objective of informing the citizens and all guests of the city of Split about the program of the Continental Cup. At the local waterfront „Riva“ all guests can participate in a game, where everybody can win tickets for the Continental Cup by selecting the correct answers from the Cup's flyer. This is also a chance to get more information on the athletics sport and the competition itself.
This great spectacle on the Riva waterfront will surely offer great entertainment with the orchestra of the Croatian musician association „Biranj“ from Kaštel Lukšić, with forty musicians, DJ Venom and the saxophone player Bauch. Along with the many volunteers and hostesses of the Continental Cup, this show on the Riva promises great party mood and perfect warm-up for the Poljud stadium and support of the best international athletes.
