On the occasion of the global competition in athletics, the Continental Cup an unforgettable manifestation was organized on the legendary beach Bačvice, where from 17.00 to 21.00 h, many visitors were given all information on this upcoming athletics spectacle. In the relaxed atmosphere all interested citizens had the opportunity not only to enjoy the excellent music mix of DJ-a Yuri (ST!llness) and posing for a photo on the winner's rostrum, but also to win a free ticket for this great international competition in athletics, that is of great importance for both the city of Split and Croatian sports in general.
The winners of the tickets for the Continental Cup surprised the jury with their profound knowledge of the Queen of sports and the upcoming Cup, while the volunteers offered to all the others with less luck to purchase tickets for this event at special prices. Tickets can be purchased also on the newspaper stands of Slobodna Dalmacija in all of Dalmatia, the shopping mall Joker in Split, the malls Emmezeta in Kaštela, Mercator in Solin, Konzum in Siobuja, the Marmont street in Split, on the Split waterfront Riva, the Poljud stadium, the Spaladium arena, camping site Stobreč and on all sales location of Eventim. This was only one of the many events organized for presentation and awareness for the Continental Cup and athletics in general for the purpose of increasing the interest for the sport and this big competition on local and global level.
The Continental Cup is the biggest international outdoor competition to be held this year, when on September 04th and 05th in the renewed stadium Poljud 408 athletes from the continents Europe, Africa, America, Asia &Oceania will compete for medals in 40 disciplines. This two day spectacle in Split will be broadcasted in over one hundred nations, but only a limited number of fans of athletics will be able to see this competition live in the Poljud stadium and cheer for their favorite athlete.
