It is precisely
150 days until the start of the
Continental Cup – the biggest athletic competition in this current year ! Split will host the stars and top athletes of the
“Queen of sports” on September 04th and 05th, ahead of them our very own and only
Blanka Vlašić.
The stadium Poljud will once again become the
arena of superior athletes and Croatia will be in the focus of international attention during the two days of this competition.
The Continental Cup is the new format of competitions, formerly known as the
World Cup in Athletics and in this format it will have the premiere precisely in Split, the city at foot of hill Marjan. This is a great recognition and honour for this “sportiest city of the world” and for Croatia as a country. All fans of this sport will definitely enjoy this fantastic spectacle of athletics in September this year.
